Laura Mercier Brush Set

A few weeks ago I was watching a YouTube video of one of my favourite beauty YouTubers, jodik76. She was doing a haul video on things she bought from Myer, and one thing really stuck out at me. She bought a Laura Mercier brush set that was just to die for!!! 

I love anything animal print and the brush set came in a snakeskin case.  It is quite a large case, but I love that! Inside it has two pockets (on the sides) to hold any products. Inside it also has a mesh pouch that is held into the case by magnets! Inside there were 5 brushes, 4 being double ended.

Finishing brush
The brush is a mixture of both natural and synthetic hairs. It's perfect for buffing products into the skin and evening out coverage of the product. 

Secret Camouflage/Camouflage Powder brush
The Secret Comouflage brush is a pointy brush that is perfect for precision in getting into the sides of the nose and corners of the eyes. It is also great for smaller blemishes. The Camouflage Powder brush is quite a large, flat oval brush. It is a synthetic brush to help apply powder over concealer.  

Brow Definer/Brow Groomer (spoolie)
The brow definer is an angled brush that is great for brushing hairs back into place and laying them flat down against the skin. The fine tip helps to fill in gaps in your eyebrows. The spoolie is a synthetic tool that is used for making sure any colour is dispersed evenly through your eyebrows. 

Smudger/Flat Eyeliner brush
I love the smudge brush! It is quite a small natural brush, so it is perfect for the corner of the eyes and along the lash line. The Flat Eyeliner brush is a synthetic brush that is perfect for getting a precise straight line of eyeliner. 

Ponytail/All over Eye Colour brush
I love the shape of the ponytail brush! It's perfect for the crease line. The all over eyeshadow brush is a large flat brush. It feels really soft, but since my eyes are quite small, I probably won't use it very much as it is quite big and I can just see eyeshadow going everywhere!
