Kitchen Cleanout: Mask Monday

Monday, 28 May 2012

So on Friday you thought you'd be a domestic goddess and make pancakes with strawberries on Sunday morning? Fast forward to Sunday morning and staying cosy in bed seems more important than pancakes. What better way to use those strawberries than with a face mask!

If your skin needs brightening, then a strawberry face mask is just what you need! Strawberries will help exfoliate your skin due to them having alpha-hydroxy acids. They also have vitamin C.

Mash 8 strawberries in a bowl with either a fork, or use a blender if you're lazy, until the strawberries are soft. Then add 3 tablespoons of honey into the mix. Apply to your skin for up to 15 minutes before rinsing.

Remember to test the face mask on your inner wrist first, before applying onto your face, to check for any reactions.
