After such a great box last month, I was a bit apprehensive to open this months box. But I'm glad to say I had a few "WOW" moments once I opened the box. This box is about being "Green" and natural. Some people think that natural products won't live up to the standards of other products, but this box will cause them to realise that natural product are just as powerful!
Here's what it contains...
Luk "Beautifood Lip Nourish" (full size)
When I first saw this I wan't quite sure what it was as there isn't really any labeling on it. But then I remembered from seeing them on the Bellabox website. Because of the lack of labeling I'm guessing that I received "Chai Shimmer." It looks pale brown, but goes on sheer with shimmer. It's so soft and nourishing. You can either wear it alone, or over/under another colour to add sparkle. See here to see which one you got.
I'm a huge fan of lip products, so I'm thrilled to have this included. This is 100% edible and natural so you don't need to feel bad or disgusted at the fact that the average gal consumes up to 2kgs of lipstick over their lifetime.
Lush "Ro's Argan Body Conditioner" (45gms)
I'm so thrilled to try this as I've seen a lot of beauty bloggers confess their love for this. I adore the Lush moisturiser "Sympathy for the Skin" and love the scents Lush comes up with. This moisturiser is no exception. It contains argan oil, cocoa butter, brazil nut oil, almond oil and shea butter, so you know it's hydrating. It's heavier than some of their other moisturisers but after it sinks in after a few minutes, it leaves your skin soft and hydrated. The packaging is gorgeous too. It's in a recyclable tin that is compact and perfect for travelling or your handbag.
Eye Of Horus Liquid Define Eyeliner (full size)
This is an item in the Bellabox shop that I've been tempted to buy before, but have never tried out the brand before and was a bit hesitant. Luckily it's in the box and if all goes well, I want to get the mascara too. Eye Of Horus use natural ingredients in their products, but still claim to have a long lasting, smudge proof formula. This would be great for sensitive eyes.
EmerginC "Kombucha Cleanser" and "Phytocell Cream" (3ml sample)
The Phytocell cream helps to renew and protect the skin, while the cleanser is a deep clean cleanser. We've received a few EmerginC samples before, and honestly I haven't tried any of them. While the packaging is really cute, I find the tiny samples impossible to try out. A use or two really doesn't give me an indicator of how good a product is.
Uskincare "Organic Wild Thyme Foot Pumice" (30ml sample)
The perfect item for our winter feet. It isn't the nicest smelling product, but anything with pumice is normally not so pleasant. I can't wait to try this and get my feet spring ready.
Aveeno "Daily Moisturizing Lotion" (29ml sample)
A nice moisturising sample that claims to moisturise for 24 hours. I haven't used their body moisturisers, but have used their skincare and I have to say I was underwhelmed by it. It claimed a lot of things, but didn't deliver much. Hopefully this moisturiser will be different. It's also fragrance free, which is great especially if you don't want your perfume having to compete in a smelling match.
Daily C Wellbeing & Immunity Vitamin C Sachet x2
The incredibly nerdy mum in me is very excited to get this. With my hubby and I sick this week, this is just what we need.
There is also a bonus offer of a You, Me & Everybody "Bodhi Me Hand Wash" when you make a purchase from the Bellabox shop. Just type in the code at the checkout!
Overall I'm so impressed with the box. I love that there were 2 make up items, and not very many skincare items. This is my kind of box!
What did you think of this months box?
XO
On the card I received where it has the price and the grams etc, that's where the name of the one I got was stated. Yours should have the same :)

DeleteI just realised I got a bourjous eyeliner in purple instead of the black eyeliner you got.
ReplyDeleteOhhh purple, thats cool. I've never used a Bourjois eyeliner before.
DeleteI got the bourjous purple liner too. I would have loved to try the Eye of Horus, please let us know what you think of it once you've tried it out.
ReplyDeleteI'll try and do a review really soon :)
DeleteI got a few different things to you. I'm excited about the Lush body conditioner but can't get past the smell at the moment! You'll have to review the Eye of Horus eyeliner :)
ReplyDeleteHahahaha Lush has tha effect on a lot of people. You either love it or hate it.
Deletedefinitely agree with grumblebee, let us know how the eyeliner goes! I got the bourjous liner last month and i do like it, but i don't use the smudge end.
ReplyDeleteI barely use smudge ends of pencils too. I find they are usually quite hard and rough.
