What I'm Wearing...

I've been loving Rimmel's Wake Me Up Foundation. It was the only foundation I brought to Adelaide with me. I normally bring 2 (1 light and 1 heavier coverage formula) but find that this is perfect for building up coverage.

I took my Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub to Adelaide and I'm so glad I did. It's so nice and while the exfoliating beads aren't big or harsh, you still feel your skin become smooth and soft.

I picked up the new Nude By Nature BB cream last Saturday and really like it. It isn't as heavy as the Garnier one, but that (hopefully) means that I won't break out using it. I'll probably do a review in a week just to make sure it doesn't break me out before recommending it.

My lips have been incredibly dry this week due to my cold. So I've been using Seed Pod Organics Nourishing Lip Balm. It's a no nonsense lip balm that delivers moisture and softness to your lips. It's unscented and I've had no reaction even though my lips are super sensitive and dry at the moment. The ingredients are very nourishing and simple.

Organic beeswax, organic extra virgin coconut oil, organic virgin macadamia nut oil, organic jojoba oil, extra virgin avocado oil, pomegranate oil, organic carrot tissue oil, Vit E.

I'm really interested in trying out their other products since it's chemical free, hand made in Australia and doesn't test on animals

Things I'm lusting for...

A Marc Jacobs bag. I'm loving the Classic Q Adian Bag.

Blogs or blog post I've loved so much I've read more than once...

I actually haven't been reading many blogs this week. Reading a computer screen with a flu induced migrane is never fun. I can't wait to catch up on all my favourite blogs.

On my mind...

My IKEA trip on Saturday. I'm looking at a table there and hope it's as nice in person as it is on the website. I hate being disappointed when you see something and it isn't as nice as it is online.

Also OMM... how amazing rosehip oil is! I didn't take it to Adelaide and I paid for that big time. I love to put it on my red nose when I have a cold, and without it my nose was irritated badly, red and peeling! I'm almost tempted to take a bottle with me everywhere I go now. It's truly amazing!

How has your week been? Any favourites you want to share with me?
XO

  1. RE the Rimmel foundation - I don't think I've read a single bad review on it and I'm really interested in it, but I remember when I told my friend about it she said it was superrrr shimmery? I don't think I've read about that in any reviews which struck me as odd! What are your views on the supposed shimmer?

    1. I don't find it shimmery at all. It's light and glowy, but not like a disco ball. I wonder if she just got a bad mix, or maybe she is used to matte that a lighter foundation just feels super shimmery to her?
