Beauty On A Budget: Biore "Combination Skin Balancing Cleanser" Review

I've used Biore since I was a teenager and always go back to their products. I find them perfect for when I'm breaking out. Their products aren't harsh, even though my skin is getting older, and I never have any nasty side effects like I do with other products (such as red or sensitive skin).

The Combination Skin Balancing Cleanser is one of their newest products from when they re-released their range in new packaging back in August.

This is one that I hadn't tried before, but have sung the praises of their Pore Unclogging Scrub and their Even Smoother Microderm Exfoliator, which has sadly been discontinued.

I will normally buy either their Warming Anti Blackhead Cleanser in winter since it's a cream based cleanser. In summer I prefer their Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser.

I have to admit that I do get a bit scared when it comes to words like "purify," "combination" or "blemishes." Too many times I've bought something that had that on the packaging and it left my skin worse than before.

Luckily this gel cleanser is fantastic for even us older beauties that still suffer from hormonal or stress induced breakouts. I love that it's quite a heavy gel that becomes silky smooth once you massage it in to damp skin.

It's really easy to wash off too.

Because it's for combination skin, it cleans without stripping your skins natural oils. It's also oil-free, non-comedogenic so it won’t clog pores and hypo-allergenic for sensitive skin.

It's $10.99 for 200mls, so not only is it a huge size, but is also perfect for anyone that's on a budget.

What's your pick for a budget cleanser?

  1. I remember trying this one when I received a tiny sample of it and really liked how it felt on my skin although I didn't receive enough of it in the sample to decide whether to purchase a full sized product. Great review, I think I might go pick this one up next time I'm at Priceline :)
