This week the new Essence range "Circus Circus" came to Priceline.
As you might guess with a circus theme, it's full of glitter!
They have some great dual nail polishes available. I really loved them, but I barely wear nail polish, so I skipped them.
Luckily for you, the gorgeous Vita from Making Up For My Age did purchase them and posted on her instagram photos of Applause, Applause, Cotton Candy and My Sparkling Acrobat.
Aren't they amazing!!! You should also check out her blog as it's full of amazing nail polish and more!
What I did pick up from the range was a highlighter and cream eyeshadow.
"It's Magic" is a gorgeous golden highlighter. I normally use silver/pearl based highlighters since it works with my pale skintone, so i'm excited to see how this looks on me.
I love the packaging so much. The imprint on the highlighter is a circus tent!
While I haven't used this on my face, when I swatched it on my wrist, it lasted all afternoon and into the night.
On the left is a light swatch, which looks amazing and just nicely highlights the skin. On the right is a heavier swatch. I wasn't sure how well the light swatch would photograph so I swatched it heavier also. While I wouldn't wear it heavy, it shows that the more you use, the more orangey golden it becomes.
The cream eyeshadow I got was "Raise the curtain for..." and it is a beautiful greyish brown. There are 3 cream eyeshadows available, but I thought this would be the most wearable colour. I really loved the golden eyeshadow, but thought I wouldn't use it often.
I wore it today and had no creasing at all, and that was with no eye primer. I adore this!!!
Check out the entire Circus Circus range here.
As usual the range is super affordable, but is amazing quality.
Will you be getting any of the "Circus Circus" range?
XO
PS Thanks to Vita for the nail polish swatches! I love how bloggers can help you make the decision from home to buy something or not from checking out their swatches! :)
These are the two products that I picked up from the collection too - aren't they wonderful? :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely jealous you managed to pick these babies up! I'm so sad I have a spending ban at the moment, otherwise I'd be out buying the entire range right now! Although it's so cheap.. maybe I will anyway.. haha!

I saw these at my local Priceline! I swatched that highlight too. Their packaging is so cute!
ReplyDeleteMy priceline is so far behind it's not even funny, our Essence stand is still stocking the graffiti line! :( The highlighter is GORGEOUS though and I'm going to find it! x
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a really nice collection. I can't wait to check it out. I haven't had a chance to look at essence products instore for a while now. Thanks for the reminder! :)
ReplyDeleteThebeautycollection - you have great taste ;)
ReplyDeleteSweetaholic - It's limited edition, and I'm sure that means that you can get it ;)
Nhi - Isn't the packaging so great!! I love how they do great names and packaging that relates to the theme.
Chelsea - Ohh that sucks :( I wonder if you could maybe try Target? I'm not sure if they are stocking the range though.
Ty - Get in quick!!! :) They normally go quickly.
