I hadn't heard much about "Arbonne" cosmetics until earlier this year. The company is really gaining a lot of hype online through beauty blogs lately, and I was lucky enough to be sent this mineral foundation so I could see for myself what all the buzz was about.
Arbonne have a few different types of foundations for any skin type. Along with the mineral foundation they also have a liquid foundation, tinted moisturiser, pressed powder as well as a translucent setting powder.
One thing that I was really impressed with online, is their colour selection. In the liquid foundation they have 15 shades and the mineral powder foundation has 8, so they cater for a LOT of skin colours.
The outer packaging it comes in is so informative with information on how to store it, how to use it and what's in it.
I love that it has an expiry date on the packaging. So many products don't have when they were made, so it's nice to know when's the best time to use it by.
There's a stopper inside to keep the powder from spilling out. This is great to have especially if you travel a lot, or keep it in your handbag.
I use liquid foundation, so I've only used this by itself once. It gave me enough coverage to hide most of my imperfections, but the red pigmentation on my cheeks was still visible. If I applied a concealer first then the powder, it would have given me a flawless look without pigmentation.
I absolutely love applying this over a light coverage liquid foundation. It not only helps to keep my foundation looking flawless all day, but gives my liquid foundation a bit more coverage. I apply this with a kabuki brush or a bronzing brush.
It's a really soft formula that never feels heavy, or looks cakey. Because it's so light, you can build it up if you just want to wear it alone.
I have no idea how, but this powder foundation makes my skin look radiant and glows so naturally. It's not shimmery or glittery. It just looks like I have pregnancy glow or holiday skin. Since using this I have barely touched a highlighter, as it makes my skin glow and I don't need to apply anything else.
Even though it makes my skin glow, it never looks greasy or oily. It also contains SPF 15.
After trying this, I'm really interested in trying out their liquid foundation since it has skin firming ingredients. They also have a make up primer that sounds great.
You can purchase the "Natural Radiance Mineral Powder Foundation" here. I'll be buying this once I've finished this tub! It's become my holy grail powder!
Have you tried many mineral powder foundations? Do you prefer a liquid formula?

I have also only recently come across the Arbonne brand, and im so impressed with the quality of their products. Cant belive I'd never heard of it before!
ReplyDeleteMonnie... Isn't it great!!!
ReplyDeleteSharleena... That's one thing I love about them. Being pale makes it hard to pick foundations, but they have one for nearly every skintone.
B&L Hunter... I feel the same. I have no idea why more people don't know about them! They're great.
ReplyDeleteThis product is looking look. I will definitely buy it. Meladermcreamguide
