Aquiesse Candles: Black Current & White Current Collection Review

I was recently contacted about a new range of candles from a brand called Aquiesse. I'm a huge candle fan, and have nearly a candle in every room of my house. I jumped at the chance to try out 2 candles from their 2 new ranges. 

Their 2 new ranges from their Spring/Summer collection are called "Black Currents" and "White Currents." 

There are 6 fragrances in the Black Currents range, and 6 in the White Currents range.

My favourite at first was Black Orchid. When I opened the tin, it smelt beautiful. It contains Orchid, Rose, Vanilla Sandalwood and Dark Musk. It has a subtle smell, that's the perfect smell for when you have guests over. 

It fills the room with a gorgeous smell, but won't be too overpowering for your guest or hide the smell of dinner if you're having them over for dinner. It has such a gorgeous musk smell, that is sweet but not sickly. 

The "White Current & Rose" from the White Currents range really surprised me. While it smells nice in the tin, once it's alight it smells incredible. It has Sweet White Current, Sheer Rose and Woody Green Leaves. 

The travel tins that I received are $9.95, and they burn for 20 hours. I love that they can be taken away with you while travelling or I like to put mine in a large tumbler holder. It keeps it safe and mess proof (and safe from little toddler hands). 

The size of the travel candle is a little bit smaller than my palm and it fits into my hand. 

Both ranges are available in a large and small boxed glass, diffuser and travel tin.

PS I'm burning Black Orchid currently while writing this, and wish that I could attach the scent to my blog post. It smells SOOOOOO good.
