Recently I blogged about a Nude By Nature Christmas gift pack (which you can see here). When I was instore buying it, I noticed that there was a difference in their packaging of the skincare range.
I've previously used some of the skincare range. I first fell in love with the brand about 3 years ago when I was pregnant. I was looking for products to use that were safer and more natural than what I was using at the time.
I really love the revamped packaging. It's cleaner and looks slightly girlier than the previous brown packaging.
Left: New cleanser packaging
Right: Old packaging
I've previously reviewed (and raved) about my love for their "Super Anti-Oxidant Foaming Cleanser" here. The new cleanser, call "Nude Daily Cleanser" is different than the original.
It has some different ingredients and the same ingredients are listed in a different order.
Included in the new cleanser is
Desert lime, supports collagen production and repairs skin
Witch hazel, which is both an anti-oxidant and astringent
Kakadu Plum, the world's richest source of vitamin C
Quandong, high in vitamin C and anti bacterial
I've been using this and love how quickly and easily it cleanses my skin. You only need a very small amount (a 5c piece size). It cost $17.95 for 125ml.
NBN had an exfoliator in their last range, but I never tried this so I'm unsure how different it is.
Like the cleanser it contains Kakadu Plum, Quandong and Desert Lime. To exfoliate and give you soft skin, it has Coconut Husk (the exterior shell of the coconut), Jojoba Beads, Walnut Shells and Glycolic Acid. It also contains Avacado, Jojoba and Rosehip oil to give your skin moisture.
It's a creamy base, rather than a gel, and it feels so soft on my skin. It has enough gritty texture to remove dead skin, but it's not harsh enough to tear at my skin. I really love this exfoliator!
It's for all skin types and retails for $17.95 for 150ml.
There are 2 moisturisers available in the range.
There's an oil free moisturiser for those beauties that have combination and oily skin. It's a light weight formula that helps to stop shine. It contains Desert Lime to help lighten pigmentation and kill bacteria as well as the Kakadu Plum and Quandong.
If you have normal to dry skin, then the Nude Intense Moisturiser is your product. It contains my new favourite skincare ingredient, Hyaluronic Acid, as well as containing Jojoba Oil and Beetroot Complex. It also contains Lillypilly, Lemon Aspen and Davidsonia Plum which help to promote cell regeneration and are anti-aging ingredients.
I really love the packaging. It's in a tube that has a pump applicator. Both of the moisturisers are $24.95 for 60ml.
I haven't used these yet, but am looking forward to trialling them over the next 2 seasons.
The "Nude Oil" has made it into my holy grail list. It's an oil that has so many incredible ingredients.
Other than the 3 main ones that are in the cleanser/exfoliant/ oil-free moisturiser, there's also
Tamanu, anti-aging and skin repairing
Rosehip, rich in essential fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants
Inca Inchi, rich in Omega 3 & 6
Calendula, anti-inflammatory and soothes the skin
Chamomile, calming and soothing
I love that this oil can be used either as a moisture booster or as a serum. You can also use this on your body to prevent/reduce scars and stretch marks. If you're a mum or mum to be, then this is a fantastic natural alternative to Bio-Oil which is mineral oil based.
I've used their previous oil, and prefer this so much more. The formula is perfect. It's not oily and sinks into the skin quickly.
While rosehip oil is HUGE in the beauty world, I adore these oils that have multiple ingredients that turn it from a simple oil into a super oil. You get so many different benefits from the Nude Oil.
The packaging is so beautiful and makes it look much more luxe than its price tag.
It costs only $19.95 for 60ml.
When I saw this, I (wrongly) assumed that it was a concealer. I think this is because the packaging reminds me a Garnier concealer.
"Nude Bright Eyes" is an anti aging eye gel. It contains Aloe Vera and Green Tea to help soothe and calm the skin around your eyes. To help with fatigue, it also contains caffeine.
It has a roller ball applicator. This helps to give you immediate results to puffy eyes.
I haven't been using it long enough to see results, but I'm really enjoying using it.
It's suitable for all skin types and ages. It would be a fantastic eye cream for someone that's new to using one. It retails for $19.95.
Another new product from them is their "Nude Miracle Serum" which is an oil free serum that hydrates your skin for up to 72 hours. It helps to reduce uneven skintone as well as reducing redness. It's perfect for combination to oily skin because it balances sebum production.
I haven't used this, but now want to get it after using their new range. It retails for $29.95 for 30ml.
The only thing missing from their new range is a toner.
Find out more about the range here. NBN is available from Myer, Priceline, Target, Terry White, Chemmart and selected pharmacies as well as their online store (here).
I love that everything is under $30 and it's all priced affordably. Priceline often have a "buy 2 get the 3rd free" deal, so you'd be able to pick up a whole routine for under $100!
I'm interested to see if they redo their cosmetics in the next few months with reformulated products and different packaging.
Have you used Nude By Nature skincare products before? Have I convinced you that you NEED the "Nude Oil" in your life?
Amy, XO

I've been using only NBN cosmetics for several years now - from time of it's release and have never looked or ever considered using another cosmetic line since. The products are outstanding, superior to any high end range I've ever used. And at 57 there's been a few. I'm delighted they've extended their range with the skincare products which are impressive and seriously very, very good. The natural ingredients and effective combinations really achieve not just the promised but impressive results. I'm just loving NBN's oil, serum and eye formula - they are pure gold!
