Party Feet Rescue: Products To Soothe Aching Feet

While this is called "Party Feet Rescue" it could also be called "My First Month Back At Work And The Toll Standing 9 Hours A Day Takes On My Feet"... although it seems like a bit of a long title!!

It doesn't matter if you're in hospitality/retail/nursing and are working crazy hours or are dancing all night in high heels, here are my top tips for soothing your tired, aching feet.

After working all day, the last thing that I feel like doing is having a very long routine to soothe my feet. This is when these two miracle workers are used.

Both of these are from Premium Spa's SOS foot range. There is the SOS Foot Scrub* and the SOS Foot Balm.*

The Foot Scrub is a creamy scrub that isn't too rough or too light. It's perfect to use every night. It contains lavender, white pumice, natural walnut and peppermint. It also contains certified organic Australian tea tree and eucalyptus essential oils to cleanse the feet since both oils are anti-bacterial. The smell is really nice and relaxing.

After using the scrub, I then use the SOS Foot Balm. It's a nice light lotion that sinks into the skin quickly and easily. It contains lavender, cocoa butter, jojoba oil and citrus mint. It also contains the tea tree and eucalyptus oil for its anti-bacterial qualities as well as rosemary for its anti-fungal and deodoriser qualities. It has a nice refreshing scent.

Both of these are only $9.95 (from Priceline, Big W and selected pharmacies), so they're perfect for anyone on a budget or if you plan to use these everyday.

As it gets to the end of the week, my feet are in serious need of TLC. To make sure my feet are soft and there's no gross dead skin build up, once a week I do a more indepth scrub. I like to use the Pure Fiji Coconut Sugar Rub* as it's a rougher texture than the SOS Foot Scrub.

Not only does it exfoliate my feet and make them smooth, it is also moisturising because of the coconut.

This is a more expensive scrub ($49.95), so I like to use it just once a week so I don't use it too quickly as it's such a beautiful product. You can purchase Pure Fiji online here

After using the scrub, I continue with moisturising my skin by using the MyNewSkin* balm. I love using the "Olive and Lavender" balm as it's perfect to use before bed to help relax and calm me.

The balm has an unusual feeling. It feels quite greasy, so I like to apply this and then put on socks to keep the balm from getting onto my bedsheets.

A great thing about this balm is that the ingredients (which are grown chemically free in Queensland) are hand picked and prepared within 3 hours to make sure that the ingredients are most effective.

While the product doesn't look very big (50gm), you only need a very small amount so it will last quite a while. You can purchase this online here for $24.95.

They also have a "Olive and Lemon Myrtle" balm available.

Do you have any tips or tricks to revive tired or sore feet?
