The Best Lip, Hands, Feet And Body Products

While body products are an everyday staple, it's something that I sometimes forget to talk about on the blog.

I have quite a few different favourites and today I've got all of my favourite lip, hands, feet and body products in 1 post!

The hygeine freak in me prefers a lip balm in a tube, but lately there's been 2 products in a tub that I've fallen in love with.

The Nivea Lip Butter's have been all over youTube and blogs since they were released. And it's not surprising!! These are inexpensive and work well.

Another one that I recently fell in love with is the Nuxe Reve de Miel. This lip balm is also in a tub. It's quite a thick lip balm that not only provides a LOT of moisture onto your lips, but it lasts for hours. I prefer to use the Nuxe first thing in the morning and last thing at night. It's the perfect bedside table lip balm. It has a slight citrus scent, but it's not overpowering.

It retails for $19.99, but is worth every cent. You don't need much of this and it lasts for hours. It's available from Priceline and online at Adore Beauty.

This was sold every 28 seconds around the world in November 2009-October 2010. If you haven't tried this before, you need to now!!!

For when I'm on the go, I prefer a lip balm in a tube. One that I love but isn't available easily in Australia is the Josie Maran Argan High Gloss Lip Gloss Quench. This is a great lip balm to apply over a lip colour to provide both moisture and gloss.

Uriage Soothing Repair Barrier Lip Balm* is a beautiful basic lip balm that helps to hydrate your lips. It gives long lasting comfort for up to 4 hours. I really love the packaging as it's easy to use and has a slanted applicator that makes it easy to apply when you're on the go.

I like to use this in the morning 5-10 minutes before I apply my lipstick or lipgloss for the day.

It's available from Priceline for $19.99.

The Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm Tube* contains beeswax, lanolin, peppermint, coconut and sunflower oil to hydrate and repair your lips. I love the scent of the peppermint. It feels, and smells, so refreshing on your lips.

This is perfect for anyone on a budget as it's only $6.95. It's also available in a small tin for those that don't mind tubs.

When it comes to my body there are 2 things that I love to use in the shower. The first is the Pure Fiji Coconut Sugar Rub.* While this is pricey, it's worth every cent. The scent is amazing. The consistency is strong enough to get rid of dead skin cells, but isn't too rough to feel painful. I use this once a week for a deep exfoliation.

I've previously reviewed it here

The other product that I can't skip is the Nivea In Shower Skin Conditioner. Since I was kindly sent it when it was launched, I've bought multiple replacements. I adore the fact that I can use this and skip moisturising my skin after getting out of the shower. When Priceline had it for half price recently, I picked up a few. I won't be running out of it for a while.

I've previously reviewed it here

The Premium Spa Ultra Firming Body Balm.* is AMAZING. It has a slight smell, but isn't overpowering. It helps to firm your skin (goodbye cellulite... hopefully) and moisturise it at the same time.

It costs only $9.99 from Priceline and is perfect for anyone looking for an inexpensive hydrating lotion that isn't too heavy.

The Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturiser Dry Skin Repair is a new moisturiser on the market and since buying it last week, I've been really impressed. It's a spray that coats your skin evenly. When I'm super lazy I spray this onto my skin and let it dry without rubbing it in. The secret is to spray it far enough that it's a light mist. I want to try the other 2 types in the range (cocoa butter and aloe vera).

This is only $9.99.

The other new moisturiser that I've been obsessed with is the Dirty Works Coconut Body Butter. I bought this from Coles when they had it on sale. It's a thick lotion, but sinks in really quickly. I love the scent. I've already bought a second tub!

It's made me want to try all of the range!

The Burt's Bees Almond Milk Beeswax Hand Creme* is a beautiful, thick hand cream. It's one of Burt's Bees original products and has been around forever for a reason.... it works!

It contains sweet almond oil, soyabean, vitamin E, beeswax and aloe leaf juice to help repair and hydrate your hands. Because it's in a glass tub, I like to keep this (safe) next to my bed to use at night.

It has a delicious scent that reminds me slightly of the Lush "Snowflake" soap.

It's slightly more expensive (it retails for $19.95) but you only need a very small amount so it really does go a long way.

For when I'm on the go, I love to use the Natural Instinct Hand & Nail Cream.* I love that it's in a tube, so I know it's safe in my hand bag. I love Natural Instinct products for their no BS spin. I know exactly what's in their products and they also show what they don't contain.

It contains shea and cocoa butter, sweet almond oil, jojoba and avocado oil. It's slightly a little bit heavy, so you only need a very small amount. After 5 minutes, it sinks into the skin leaving you with soft and hydrated hands.

It costs $9.95 and will last many, many months.

You can pick up Natural Instinct from pharmacies, including Priceline and Terry White, and health stores across Australia.

Finally for my feet I adore 2 very different creams. The Premium Spa SOS Foot Balm* is a lightweight moisturiser that's perfect for every day use. I like to apply this before bed. It contains organic tea tree and eucalyptus (which are anti-bacterial ingredients) as well as peppermint and rosemary.

It retails for $9.99 for 150ml and is available from Priceline.

Another product that I love is the Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Creme.* At first I was expecting this to smell like coconut but it also has peppermint and rosemary in it. It also contains lanolin and vegetable glycerin to revive tired feet.

It feels more like an oil than a creme. You only need a small amount. My feet feel extremely soft the next day after using this. I like to use it once or twice a week, almost like a hydrating foot mask.

  1. I love the Natural Instinct hand cream. I'm yet to check out the Dirty Works range but I definitely need to! They sound great. My next lip balm purchase will be the Nuxe (hopefully if they have a sale) but I do love the Nivea balms.
