Weleda is a brand that I first learnt about from fellow beauty blogger Chels, from Confessions Of A Beauty Addict. She adores Weleda and when I was contacted to trial a product I jumped at the chance to find out what makes their products so special.
Weleda has been around since 1921 and was created by 2 doctors. The brand is all about healing skin conditions by using natural ingredients. It's takes a holistic approach to skincare, where balance is important (both inner and outer).
The product that I picked to trial was their "Wild Rose Smoothing Masque." I'm really diligent with my skincare, but applying a weekly mask is where I tend to fail.
My favourite aspect of this mask is how you use it. You apply it onto clean skin and let it soak in. It has an unusual texture. It feels more like a moisturiser than a classic mask.
I keep this on my skin for 15-20 minutes. Once the time is up, you can leave it on your skin or rinse it off. Because I use face masks at night, I prefer to leave on the mask and pat the remainder of the cream into my skin. One reason is because I then can let the ingredients repair my skin overnight and the other reason is laziness!! I don't want to get out of bed to wash it off my face!
Since using this for the last 6 weeks, my skin has felt so much softer and smoother. It contains cold-pressed wild rose seed oil and peach kernel oil to help moisturise and protect your skin as well as mallow extract to help renew your skin.
It retails for $34.95 for 30ml. While the tube looks small, you don't need much and it will last for 3-4 months with weekly use.
They have quite a few different ranges for skincare. I now want to try their Almond range. Weleda also do haircare, bodycare and baby products.

I'm currently trying out a few Weleda products and I have to say I'm super impressed! They've exceeded all expectations I had :) I'm glad you had some luck too.

I am also trialling a few of their products if rom the Wild Rose range as well as some of their baby products on y little boy, and they are really lovely, highly recommended.

ReplyDeleteI always cringe at the word "Rose" on any product because it usually means there's gonna be a scent. And scented products always irritate my nose. However, I have heard nothing but good things about Weleda!

Hmmm...interesting. I have never tried any welda products but upon reading this, I got convinced on trying it out. It seems like a great product to try out. Wanna know how will it work on my skin.
