Beauty Bites #5: My Weekly Beauty Wrap Up

Friday, 22 May 2015

This week I've been wearing mostly the same products as I'm trying to finish them up, so it's been a fairly uneventful make up week.

My most worn beauty products...

I'm so close to finishing my Arbonne Sheer Finish Tinted Moisturiser* and Benefit Gimme Brow* so they have been on my face every single day this week.

I've been loving the Nude by Nature Pressed Mattifying Mineral Veil. It's a great powder to apply to keep your foundation or tinted moisturiser in place all day. I really want to get the pressed version of the mineral foundation.

I've been using the Obagi Professional C Serum* everyday both morning and night. I LOVE this. It has a beautiful texture. I've really noticed a difference in my skin since I've been using this as well as the Alpha H Liquid Gold.

A new lip balm that I bought last week that I fell in love with was the Grown Alchemist Watermelon and Vanilla Lip Balm. It smells amazing, it really hydrates my lips and doesn't feel sticky. I talked about it here in my lips blog post earlier this week.

I recently went back to using the bHave Rescue Intense Repair Shampoo* & Conditioner* and I still can't get over how amazing they make my hair feel!! If you have damaged hair, then you need to get these!I've previously reviewed them here.

Disappointing products...

I don't have any disappointing products!
Best Sale...

Click Frenzy was on Tuesday but some brands are extending their sale. Ry.com.au is one of them! Get 10% off Beauty Blender, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Bite Beauty and Napoleon Perdis products, as well as 30% off Dermalogica.

What I'm lusting after...

Evo hair brushes!! I've purchased 2 but I want more because they're so beautiful. Alive Skin + Hair currently have them on sale here.

My favourite youTuber or blogger...

Yesterdays Wishes is a beauty youtuber who's blind. It's really interesting watching her apply make up, especially eyeliner. She also has some great videos on being blind.

On my mind...

Seeing my 3 month old roll over for the first time yesterday. It's moments like this that makes the lack of sleep worth it!

  1. I haven't tried Alpha H products, what would you recommend from their range?

    1. Liquid Gold!! It's amazing. They have quite a few packs, so I would suggest getting one of those so you can try out a few things without it breaking the bank.
