Ry.com.au Haul featuring Moroccanoil & Beautyblender

You'll be noticing lately that a lot of my hauls are going to be less of actual beauty products and more about tools. Because when it comes down to it, a product is less likely going to be as amazing when you're using low quality tools.

I already have a lot of make up brushes, but when Ry.com.au (also known as Recreate Yourself) contacted me, I knew immediately that hair brushes would be on my wishlist. I don't really have a lot of brushes, so I went onto the website to see what they had.

And I fell in love with this pack from Moroccanoil.

To me this is a great starter pack for anyone that's clueless when it comes to brushes. It comes with 4 brushes as well as a 50ml Frizz Control Spray.

The brushes are...

Ionic Ceramic Thermal Barrel Brush Small (25mm)
Ionic Ceramic Thermal Barrel Brush Medium (35mm)
Ionic Ceramic Thermal Barrel Brush Large (55mm)
Ionic Ceramic Thermal Paddle Brush

Because the brushes are ceramic and ionic, the brushes will help evaporate water in the hair quicker meaning it takes less time to dry your hair. These brushes will be a lifesaver on those cold mornings!

The products come in a waterproof bag. The bag would be great for travelling. We have a very small bathroom cabinet, so I'm going to keep the brushes in the bag in our bathroom since storage space is an issue.

The pack also comes with an umbrella, which is perfect timing since it's winter here in Oz.

The pack retails for $84.95 but is sadly out of stock currently. Keep an eye out for it as it's a wonderful pack. Otherwise you can purchase the brushes individually from the site as well. They also sell the Moroccanoil Boar Bristle brushes which look beautiful. They're more expensive, but boar bristle brushes leave your hair looking so soft, frizz free and glossy.

I also ordered the Beautyblender The Original Beautyblender Single + Mini Solid Beautycleanser.

I've heard sooooo many amazing things about the Beautyblender but have never tried it... until now.

I decided to get the mini cleanser instead of the full size version (this one) because currently I'm happy with using baby shampoo and felt like the mini size would give me enough uses to decide if I want to stick to the baby shampoo or buy the full size version of the solid cleanser.

Alternatively they also have a liquid cleanser, so if I find the solid cleanser works better than shampoo but I prefer a liquid then I could order that instead.

I've only used the beautyblender twice, but did find the solid soap removed all of the CC cream while the baby shampoo removed about 95% of it. I'm going to be trying out some foundations over the week to see how the soap performs as well as trying the soap on some foundation brushes that never seem to get completely free of foundation.

I like that the Beautyblender comes with instructions, since all sponges are used and cared for differently. Another cool thing is the fact that you can store your sponge on the packaging while it dries!

You also get some samples with your order. As well as a cute "I heart Ry.com.au" mini nail file, which is the perfect size to put in your handbag.

Also if you post your haul on instagram, tag them along with the hashtag ryhaul and every week one of the pictures will win a $50 Ry gift voucher!

I found the shipping really quick (it was ordered on the Wednesday and I received it on the Monday) and it was packaged securely so that there wouldn't be any damages.

I would order from them again in a heartbeat. Actually I already have my order wishlist... this Wella SP Luxe Oil Pamper Pack as well as this Becca Ombre Nudes Eye Palette.

They also currently have a GWP. When you spend over $99, you get a free Label.M Sea Salt Spray as well as free shipping (don't forget to use the code SEASALT).

Check out their website here

Have you purchased from Ry before? Also has anyone used both the solid and liquid beautyblender cleaner? Which one did you prefer?

    1. The brush set is awesome. The only thing that it's missing is a detangling brush. You won't regret buying from them :)
