Napoleon Perdis have been kicking it out of the ball park this year. They've released some amazing products like their Nude U Palette (seen here) as well as a new mattifying setting powder, 2 cleansers and a cream highlight/contour/blush palette. They have just released some new lip products too (see them in action here).
Last month they released a new collection of cream products called the Social Butterfly Collection.
They have 2 eye products and a Metallic Multi-Purpose Illuminator. I was sent the two eye products, the Radiant Reflections Eye Color* and Sateen Eyes Sculpting Eye Color,* to trial.
I really love the packaging. It's simple but looks beautiful. I like to store them upside down to stop them from drying out (which is a good way to store your gel eyeliners too!)
The consistency of the Sateen Eyes Sculpting Eye Color is really strange. The best way to explain how it feels is to say it feels like a damp sponge. While not the most lovely way to explain a texture, I really enjoy the feel of it as it feels so bizarre. I normally don't apply it with my hands though so I miss out on the odd feeling.

I like to use the Sateen Eyes Sculpting Eye Color as my eyeshadow base colour. Beware that it's highly pigmented. When you go to apply it, think about how much you'll need and then apply only 5% of that amount!!! I just lightly dab my Rae Morris Creme Shadow Shader brush into the pot and then use that amount on both eyes!!! Because you only need a very small amount, I can't imagine finishing a pot in my lifetime.
I find a lot of cream eyeshadows crease on me due to my eye shape, but this doesn't. It sticks like super glue! Just a warning that it does set quite quickly, so I need to work with it quickly to blend it out. The fact that it dries quickly makes it the perfect product to use as a base as I can quickly and easily use other products over the top.
I really hope that they release more of these in other colours as it's a fantastic product!

I first used the Radiant Reflections Eye Color as a swatch for photos and thought "meh" about it. It wasn't very pigmented and I knew straight away that I couldn't use it by itself.
But when I applied it to my eyes, it looked amazing. While I'm normally not a fan of glitter, there's something about this that makes any boring eyeshadow look magical!

I can't wait to go into town next and check out the Metallic Multi-Purpose Illuminator. The swatches that I've seen here are stunning. I also want to check out their Browtox Pack here as I'm wanting to experiment with thicker brows and my brow tints just aren't giving me a bold enough effect.

I saw these at work the other weekend and was used in a makeover. I love some of the new lipstick shades and the radiant eye colour. I use to apply cream eye shadows with my finger but sometimes I would get it everywhere haha so now I've switches to a synthetic brush.

DeleteBoth look gorgeous but I prefer the second one. I prefer darker but not too much. I think this is okay. I usually use a brush especially when I am in the office.
