I spent most of last week in my pajamas due to a cold that both my girls and I had. So it was lovely being in the land of the living this week and wearing make up and brushing my hair!
This week I've rediscovered some old favourites as well as using up some beauty essentials.
My most worn beauty products...
I've been wearing the Max Factor CC Cream* nearly all week as it's a great base for when I'm running errands and don't want a face full of make up. I've been using the Maybelline The Nudes Palette a lot because it has a great mix of colours and contains both matte and shimmers. Just letting you know that this isn't the best quality palette when it comes to smoothness and pigmentation so I've been using a cream base underneath to make the shadows pop.
I've been using the Revlon Photoready Kajal Intense Eyeliner+ Brightener to help brighten up my eyes. I'm only using the brightening side (it's dual ended) to line my waterline. I'm still loving the Max Factor Masterpiece Glamour Extensions 3 in 1 Mascara.* I find that because the wand is very thin, I can get really close to my lash line and create a false lash effect.
I'm on my 3rd bottle of the ModelCo Replenishing Rose Mist Facial Mist and it's still love. It smells amazing and feels so refreshing on my skin.
Being on maternity leave means that I'm with my children 24/7 and the only time I get to myself is when I have a shower. I adore using the Molton Brown Renew Ambrusca Cleansing Shower Oil* as it smells amazing and feels so luxurious on my skin. It really helps me to unwind and relax so I like to use this at night. You can also see what other products are in my shower here.
The Hair&Me Hair Rejuvenation Treatment* is AMAZING!! It really leaves your hair feeling hydrated and soft. I've still got 1 or 2 uses left and will be buying some when I've finished this.

Empties...
I think dry shampoo is the beauty product that I use up the quickest and this week I finished up the Batiste "Neon Lights" Dry Shampoo. While I like Batiste, I didn't find this their best formula. I still prefer the Cherry or Blush version.
2 products that I've finished and already repurchased are the Mecca Cosmetica Lip De Luscious Treatment and the Alpha H Liquid Gold. Both of these are pricey but give me great results.
I also finished the Jergens Hydrating Coconut Milk. It wasn't bad or good... just meh! I wouldn't repurchase it.
Disappointing products...
No let downs this week! :)
Best sale...
An amazing GWP is a free Estee Lauder mascara with this months Marie Claire (Australia only). The mascara is worth $52, while the magazine is $9.95! There are also 2 sachet samples in the magazine too!
What I'm lusting after...
I just put in an order with the Natural Supply Co today and ordered some goodies from Lavanila as I've heard some amazing things about their deodorant and perfumes. I can't wait to get them!
My favourite youTuber or blogger...
Kat from Katness Life And Loves has one of those blogs that's so effortlessly cool. Her photography is incredible, her writing is beautiful and she has a great mix of beauty and lifestyle. Check out her blog to be inspired and uplifted!
On my mind...
How can I fit exercise into my day?? Trying to work out a time to do it feels impossible with 2 little ones. Any advice for me?

Oh wow, that magazine GWP is such a steal! And I've been seeing the NUDES palette featured in the blogosphere so much! Too bad I don't wear eyeshadows, that palette is no use to me despite how pretty it looks :( Hope you've been well xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Tram :)
DeleteJust think of all the money you save not wearing eyeshadows ;)
Agree about Katness! She's great!
ReplyDeleteShe's the best :)
DeleteI bought the Marie Claire mag too - that deal is just too good to pass up! You also get a free perfume sample too if you take that card in to Myer :) I've been hearing amazing things about that MaxFactor mascara. I really want to try it!
