Finding the perfect hairdresser or beauty therapist is like
finding the one. You go to a new place wishing and hoping for the best, which
is like going on a blind date. You might have heard some good things from your
friend (and from Facebook stalking) but sometimes you leave disappointed (and
worst… with a mullet!).
Then you try out more places, to only feel let down. But
Livindigo is a new website that makes finding your beauty soulmate easy!
Currently Sydney (you lucky, lucky people) can hop onto
their website and find the perfect hairdresser or beauty therapist of your
dreams. All you need to do is enter what you’re looking for, your location and
the time you want to be pampered.
It brings up suggestions based on what you want. The site is
very sleek and clean in layout. After putting in your information, you click on
a salon that looks good and it gives you their opening hours, an option to book
now and their pricing list. Also featured are reviews and information about the
business. The reviews are great because they give separate stars for the
ambiance, staff, cleanliness and price (value). Because the site is new, not
all places are reviewed currently, but it’s a fantastic rating system once more
and more people leave feedback.
They also have a section on the homepage where some of the
salons give you a discount (between 15-20%) for last minute bookings.
They do have a section for men and women so it’s a great
site to show to the man in your life who’s in need of a haircut, shave,
pedicure or wax.
Check out the website HERE. If you sign up, they’ll also
give you a 20% off discount code!* If you’re not in Sydney, head over to their Facebook page
HERE to keep up to date with their expansion into Melbourne and Brisbane.
How long have you been trying to find “the one?” Have you
settled into a great working relationship or are you still trying to find your
perfect hairdresser or beauty therapist?
Amy, XO

I got quite lucky recently with a change of hairdresser...struck gold with the first one I chose. I think she's better than my old hairdresser, dare I say it (and a bit cheaper too)! My hair's got more body & texture in it now and I totally love it.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a really interesting concept! I hope they expand into Adelaide, too :)
